Dead pixel, some of the images to have small dots or in some cases sold green lines down the middel. They are more than likely errors/interference in the transmission back to earth.

yep. mostly saturated pixel. could be a cosmic ray that hit that pixel. Sometimes ,with luck, we have images showing the remainder of ice as a little spot, but then to have that 'exactly' one pixels size would be quite coincidental.
