How these spiders breed!!

I was just searching through some of my spider images, and was slightly irritated with the slowness of my search. I realised the reason when I added up my collections and realised I I have around 5,000 images of Martian spiders and spider networks. Amazing how they have mounted up over the years! I'm going to have to work out some sort of sub classification I think! )-:

That's on average collecting 1000 images a year! Wow. Thanks for gathering those.

If you do start to classify your collection I'd love to hear about your approach/results. There's a science paper somewhere that talks about the 'tortuosity' (what a great word!) of spiders. Good luck with your work. 😃

PS: Here's the science paper I mentioned. Cheers. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hnsy6geeltnzk7v/Hansen. Erosion of Surface.pdf?dl=0
Beginning at the bottom of page 290 (page 5 in the pdf) is the discussion of classification for the future. Well worth looking at methinks.
