  I notice the euro/russ probe "Schiaparelli" has arived safely and has started it's descent to the surface. Due to touch down on Wednesday. Lets wish it more success than poor Beagle2 .~pete

  Sadly looks like it was a hard landing.... Lots of lessons to be learned from the telemetry sent back. Mars is heard.

  Yes. Sad, but at least the orbital component can do it's 'gas sniffing' research. ~pete.
