Zigzag offsets

  Has anybody else noticed 'offsets' appears to be a fault with apparent horizontal movement? Could be joining of photos?

  Hi!

  Yes, this can happen rarely. HiRISE actually has not a continuous CCD but 9 separate channels and they must be "glued" together. Usually it is smooth and you do not notice the border, but sometimes it might be visible.
