"popular hashtags" question.

    How is the list of popular hashtags sorted?....I know it isn't by alphabetic order. Could it be by numeric frequency?....Something else?

    They are ordered by frequency. Top left corner should be the most used, next being boulders. The popular hashtags are links used to the search page. So you can click on them to them to see their absolute frequency.
