Different terrain and venting pattern

In the HiRise images associated with this image, there is an extensive tongue of terrain coming in about a third the way up the upper side of the image(eg, on the greyscale) running diagonally up the image. The texture and venting pattern are totally different from the surroundings, there is also a straight line of vents running parallel to the upper edge of this terrain. This is an incursion rather than a boundary edge. Does any one have any ideas as to the cause? It would be nice to be able to see the adjoining image.
