This image has a spectacular line of emissions along what appears to be an escarpment. The wind blown fans extend over the ridge, but there appears to be flow or slippage back down the slope. Is this what it seems?

There have been a few bits of the larger Hirose that this comes from recently, worth a look.
Think what you are looking at is a section of the so called layered deposits so there's a series of flat bits with a cliff at the edge of each

I see what you mean. There appear to be 6 or 7 separate terraces with a line of emmissions along the edge of each. Its spectacular! I note these terraces are not far below the ice edge. Could they be features of the advancing and retreating ice cap?

Not sure have looked for an explaination of how these features formed and/or where all the stuff that's worn away is now but still not much the wiser
