Hi Ianjames, nice to see you here. I won't say whether or not the whole of Mars has been surveyed by the MRO/HiRise mission (somebody will I'm sure) but the two polar regions most certainly have. Currently we're looking at images from the southern polar area and the second set of these images is coming up soon. There's just been a newsletter telling us lot that the first results from this part of the project are due out shortly, so we'll get a feel for what's going on.

After the south has been sorted we will then get the northern polar area to classify (fans and blotches) and its a whole new world of mysteries up there for us. Many images have never been seen by humans before and I for one can't wait to be a true explorer (and discoverer?).

Make sure to follow the blog: http://blog.planetfour.org/

    Hope that helps. Cheers, Kitharode.

Hi there - there is an animation here http://planetfour.org/SGMap/ which shows where the images that have been classified come from - it starts slowly so bear with it, toy'll see little coloured squares showing where images have been looked at.
