Interesting points of commonality between these so-called 'boulders' or 'snowballs'. A significantly large percentage of these are double and more-than-often have a large 'ball' and a small 'ball' immediately next to each other. Many are on the edge of what appears to be a dark blue area that looks remarkably like a liquid and there are frequently trails/tracks across the terrain that have a 'ball' at the end of it. Now I know this is highly fanciful and I'm sure there are all sorts of geophysical arguments for what they might be, but doesn't this look an awful lot like something that can travel across an icy surface and at times break through that surface to a liquid layer underneath and isn't it remarkable that, when you look at high magnification they're all of a similar size, colour and group together ? Life Jim, but not as we know it ????
