I've had a few of these, looks like they are taken at either dusk or dawn, or in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

The colors of images here are nowhere close to realistic. Sometimes our camera has a bad day and one color channel does not work (or simply comes underexposed), so as a result from time to time we get such weird colors.

yeah, the color image generation pipeline is mostly specialized on geology, so things that never change (I'm kidding 😛) , so if there are ices in the image and maybe even differently surfaced ices, that totally can throw over the color stretch calculations, so, alas, most colors are not very real. Bluish and reddish are] realistic, but green, no way. 😉
