a lonely white point can be found in the bottom of a ridge, it seems unusual, but not an artefact?!

Seen it too. It looks like a tiny shinning to me, maybe some material that reflects the light?

It could be a small around of frost. It tends to show up as very bright spots. It could also be a hot pixel on the camera.
