  Hi Flynn, these are the dark deposits vented through the ice as the pressure of sublimated CO2 ice under the surface is released in a geyser like event carrying underlying dust with it. These are the"fans" and "blotches" that P4 needs us to mark. In this example the actual position of the vent may be out of shot, so although it may well be a 'fan', I think I would mark it as a 'blotch.' There are also blue ice remnants still showing from the early Spring venting of ice crystals that occurs before the vent starts to eject dust with the ice gas and crystals.
