  Hi,

  Nicely spotted. The fans do look like they all start a line in the top right region. I'd say these fans start at that 'fault' or trough line and spread out from there since I see darker material closer to the line.

  The wider view on HiRISE shows a large area of linear venting. Some is around the fracture lines of polygonal plates, but the area this 'clip' is from shows many of these long straight fault lines running in the same direction,adjoining the area of polygonal plates. Interesting! ~ pete
