blue color of the fan

  Why these fans are blue?

  The blue color we think is either from fresh carbon dioxide frost outgassed from the geysers that bring up the fan material (the fan material then gets blown by the local winds making the shape you see in the image or the fan particles sinking into the ice with the ice melting and refreezing.
