  Hi there. The dark spots are dust patches that have 'erupted' from below the thin ice sheet covering the surface of Mars. It looks like there are boulders in the middle of each spot. Follow the 'View HiRise Image' link at the bottom of your picture and you will see many more of them. Good hunting. 😃
