Those features are very strange indeed. Nicely spotted. Those are channels. They are carved into the surface of Mars by carbon dioxide gas trapped under the thawing carbon dioxide ice sheet on the south pole of Mars. You can learn more about what these features are here and here.

Right of the upper spider there's a 2 (maybe 3) lobe fan. Theres a dark lobe running right-left in a darker but more dissolute material than the fans/blotches around the spider. and a light material fan running down. Bottom right theres a right left fan which looks like same material as that around the spider. This fan may also be associated with light fans both above and below. Has anyone seen blue frost on this type of terrain or is the white stuff equivalent to blue elsewhere?
