Anyone any ideas as to what the dot in the centre of the image could be?

How do I mark it?

Looks square to me which is unnatural. Could it be a glitch of a pixel or two with no data or possibly a bit of an orbiter? No idea of scale.

Well. I guess it's too late by now, but I meant to use our blotch tool to mark the thing. If you came to discussion you must have seen our marking tools, didn't you?
Does not look unnatural to me at all, it has a less than-90-deg corner on one side with a lot of disruptions, big deal. The channel right on top of it is also slightly "cornery", for example. You'll see these things a lot if you continue in the project.

I agree with Anya, there are lots of blotches with interesting and coincidental shapes.
You will "know" if you come across somthing significant.
Do you use a decent magnifieing glass when viewing? it would have shown you the randomness of this blotch.
Have fun.
