Something interesting going on above these fans. Looks like vapour or perhaps heated air at the blunt end of these fans. Assuming the pointy end is at the surface, and these fans rise up as in the suggested graphic on Stargazing live, I wonder if whatever is being released is also release some sort of gas or vapour. It almost looks like the blurry area at the blunt end is the blur or ripple of heated "air".

It is certainly an active area. This is the first image that I have looked at so I have no idea how common this phenomena is. If this was on Earth then it looks like a spray of liquid that has fallen in a fan shape and melted (assuming ice) what was below it.
