fan ejecting boulders?

the fan on this photo has some cratering downwind of the source, the surrounding area has no evident cratering. could the fan have ejected larger chucks of co2 boulders causing these impact marks?

Assume you are referring to the 2 small features downwind of the fan? There are other similar things elsewhere on the image.

#fan with some cratering upwind on an otherwise uncratered surface. could the fan have ejected co2 #boulders causing this cratering?

it looks like a very small bloch in the top left corner with a short and thin line behind it but the line is not straight it is squiggly
