Boulder field or lots of yellow dus deposits?

  Haven't seen any other images like this one. Is this a boulder field of some sort or are they unusual small dust deposits of some sort?

  The other option could be ice of course.

  Any thoughts on what all these yellow dots are. This is the most I have seen on be image, if they are boulders seems like a lot of them for such a small area.
