Dried up streams?

Vein looking terrain. Potentially evidence of an old stream system, but where does it end? A hole that goes underground?

They do kinda look like river channels but they are carved but something other than water. They are carved into the surface of Mars by carbon dioxide gas trapped under the thawing carbon dioxide ice sheet on the south pole of Mars. You can learn more about what these features are here and here.

I do so agree with this. Many of these, often Starfish-shaped objects look to me like the "Water" has been drawn into a sink-hole which has then closed up with debris. Knowing the position of the Sun would assist greatly.......what some people see as a mound could easily be a valley. I see valleys here.
