Source craters

At the "sharp" end of most of the plumes in this image there is a round shape - a crater? - which seems to be the source for the plume/fan of material. others found the same?

Most of the fans in this image have a crater at the sharper end - presumably where the plumes are emitted from?

all the fans seem to face the same way, and there is a blue glow in most.
