What the geysers originate from?

  by the looks on this photo the geysers could possibly originate from those white hill like things?

  This "hill like things" are boulders. They stand out from the CO2 ice layer (this area is completely covered by ice at this time of year) ad get warmed up a bit more than the ice away from them. So, first only the ice that gets in contact with boulders will sublimate creating those geysers.
