Hi TPF, a beautiful image of the "Finger Lake" area of the Mars southern pole showing great # "spiders"~ Look up on the blogs on this site, or the old tutorial if you don't know these terms, or just google. The sunlight from lower left is illuminating the ice left in these spider channels, showing them up as a vaguely arachnoid (hence the nickname -spiders) channel system, caused by the blasting out of surface grit under the icecap when the CO2 sublimates in Spring and the pressure vents through a weakness in the icecap.
