Blotches or something else?

  Does this actually have a lot of fans and blotches as i am seeing or something else??

  Classic "fan/blotch field" in the "Ithaca" area . Check out the context by clicking on the HiRISE link bottom right of image, and select the 'RGBcolour, non map projection' option. Your image is a small clip from that strip.Gives a good overview. Regards-Pete
