How would you classify this one?

  This image looks like it has a couple of obvious fans and blotches, but how would you classify this? Would you use multiple overlapping blotches?
  On a flippant note I also see various faces in this image - centre (bottom half) has a face, to the right is a ghost from casper, top left clown in profile. 😃

  Hi again LunaC, I call these "confluent" fans and blotches. They take some marking, but I would do my best with the 'blotch' marking tool.If you look closely at the thin lines, you can see that they are composed of numerous tiny fans. This venting in lines is often hashtagged as "linear venting", or "linear emissions". Here is an image early in the formation showing the lines of small fans APF0001w77 and another like yours where the fans have become 'confluent' APF00015z2 😉 ~pete
