Lots of very faint fans - to we classify them?

  • LunaC by LunaC

Hi. This image has lots of faint fans and a few faint blotches. Do we draw all the classifications in or just the darker, more obvious ones only?

    Thanks for the help.

Yes LunaC Not easy but we try to mark them. You will see that most are 'multiidirectional' with new fans forming from the same vent after a wind shift, and so are of particular interest to the Mars weather folk. ~pete

    Hi,

Yes, it would be great if you could mark those so that we can figure out the wind directions. Most images have less fans than this so you won't have to do this amount often.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Do your best with this image and classify as many fans as you can. I know it's a bit difficult to see, but if we can mark those fans it would help us map the true frequency of fans and their sizes over the Martian spring and summer.

    Thanks,
