  Hi Dahbacon. The HiRISE images from which this image is clipped shows it to be from an extensive area of venting with deposits in classic 'blotch' and 'fan' forms. It was taken during the Martian spring 14 May 2007 (Spring solstice Dec9th 2007, Summer solstice June 25 2008) when sublimation and thus venting activity is high. Hope this is of help.~ Pete
