how to deal with meandering formations?

  How should I deal with such meandering blood vessel like formations?
  Are they one giant blob?
  Should I mark them as interesting?
  If so, how exactly? One star somewere or cornering stars for the reagion?

  Hi,

  You don't have to mark the channels. For the dark blobs I would mark with the fan tool. The channels are carved by trapped carbon dioxide gas under a thawing carbon dioxide ice. The 'spider' channels as their dubbed are in many places we see fans, so no need to mark them with the interesting tool. You can learn more about the spider formation process here.
