Fantastic field, far too many fans to count. What looks like a clear quarter-circle fault from centre bottom to centre right.

So many fan sources, marked a few but interesting to see so many from what appear multiple fracture lines or peaks.

Something - CO2? - pushed through the surface then carried by the wind. or could be a venturi effect.

Very easy to see fans and small blotches here. Terrain looks like sand - is there a correlation between sand and fans?

Now imagining a plain flat rippled surface with lines of cracks, from which emanate black plumes. Similar to tall spindly bushes in hedges?
