Can't Make Sense Of This One

Strange image found by pete-j. I'm looking at the large blotchy-fan at right of image. The pale patch, with circular feature, on the left of blotch seems very mysterious. Any ideas how this might have come about?

Some topography variation that keeps dust trapped in a circular depression around a small mound, maybe?

Hi Anys nice to see you here again, Looks likes a "brass rubbing" of one of the hexagonal(ish) features beneath the blotch, either a moat or a circular hump.

Hi everyone!
I feel honoured - just classifed this as #blotches, #fans and #troughs; perhaps this could be the first signs of alien life hidden below the permafrost? (Sorry, I am trying to be funny).
Seriously though, it does look like a bit of raised topography around the edges (following on from Anya).
