Hi There. That's a busy image indeed.
The black bits are fans. These are what the science team want us to mark with the fan tool. Don't worry, not all the images are as busy as this. Many of them are without fans or blotches so you can just 'finish' with them and get the next one. Maybe this will help; http://planetfour.org/#/about/examples

Hi Marchl. Marking one big fan wouldn't be right I'm afraid. 😦 There are some images with one huge fan or blotch in them, but this is definately a 'many fans' image.
If you can do most of them (or even some of them) that'll help. Challenging I know, but Mars is a challenging place. 😃
