  Hi there. Seems like a simple enough question, but I'm not going to commit myself just yet. There's obviously some 'spidering' going on, but I've a feeling there's more to it than that. Sorry I can't help more.

  A 'true spider' is something which has a center from which channels radiate our,branching as they go. The term is also used for other types of features which may not conform to the classic form, notably systems of polygonal shapes bounded by channels which look a lot like the arms of the true spider. these are thought to form by the erosion of surface cracks, which I think is mainly what we're looking at here
